The Kutz Home Auxiliary, a group of talented, dedicated, and creative volunteers, is committed to helping our residents live with dignity, enjoy the world around them, and engage in meaningful activities. To this end, the Auxiliary holds two major fundraisers during the year: the Donor Luncheon in May and the Forget-Me-Not Gala in the fall. In addition, money collected from donations, the Chanukah Raffle, and the Lights of Love help to supplement the fundraising efforts.

Over the years, the Auxiliary’s unbounded generosity has provided funds for countless Kutz Home projects, needs, and desires to benefit our residents. Gifts the Auxiliary has given to the Home include a para-transit van, major funding for the Home’s expansion projects, and the purchase of new beds and furniture for all resident rooms. Ongoing support from Auxiliary funds provides free manicures for residents, entertainment through The Home’s activities department, fresh flowers for the dining room and reception desk, artwork that adorns the halls, and medical equipment as needed.

On Thursday afternoons, the Auxiliary sponsors the ever-popular Commissary Cart. The Cart provides the residents an opportunity to conveniently purchase little extras. Each month, residents, who are able, are treated to lunch at a local restaurant as a part of the Auxiliary’s Treat-A-Resident to Lunch program.

The Auxiliary of The Milton and Hattie Kutz Home is an integral part of The Home and its residents.

Membership in the Auxiliary is open to everyone – women and men! Please consider becoming an active and contributing member of The Kutz Home Auxiliary. We would love to have your talents on our team.
